Situations

What would you do if…
(Is it a harmful bribe, secret or trick?)

• Someone kisses you using their tongue. They give you chocolate and tell you they'll give you more if you don't tell anyone.
• You are walking home in the rain and someone you don't know offers to take you home in their car so you don't get wet.
• A woman from your church or club, who you don't know very well, asks you to come home with her to watch a video. She tells you that she has already asked your parent (or another carer) and it's all right with them.
• Grandad said that he would take you to the swimming pool if you tidy your bedroom.
• Your grandmother hits you hard when you are visiting her. She tells you she is sorry and that if you don't tell anyone, she will let you stay up late and watch TV.
• A friend of your mum sometimes stays at your house. They get into bed with you and tell you not to tell your mum. They say your mum will get angry with you and you'll get into trouble if you tell.
• Your mum or dad tells you what they have bought your brother or sister for their birthday. They tell you not to tell your brother or sister.
